Im very suprised why you dont like the Focus ST, cos if you like the above with that ricey lip, ST has that rear jap skirt that is to your liking.
The pic you posted above is HDR, you do know that dont you ? get more non-hdr pics of the car from all angles, i would like to see if he also got the Votex sides, look like it to me. he also got the GT grill on, which is very nice. its just the lip that is fugly.

Audi is also avail in 5dr.... and we get a 5dr GTI... hehehe, Surely thats not the only reason
VWSA is at fault here, the factory is here, the 2 doors are made here but not sold here... very stupid imo, but there stats show something different, they say the public does not like 2 doors and that it is infact more expensive to make.... very stupid considering it has two less doors and overseas 2 doors are cheaper...
Thats also their reason for discontinuing the 2 door Polo. They stupidly told me that its not selling..... I just couldnt believe it, so I tell them nah you must be lying, so then they say the engine wasnt very reliable but it would defame the company if they had to admit it.
June 2008, they drop the 96kw unreliable engine in a 4 door Polo...
I desperatley waited for the 2 door Polo GTi and that also was a no go, at the time the PGti was the worst selling of all the Polos, i asked why not try bring it in 2 door just to test the market, my reason being that 2 door VWs are rare and very exclusive.....
Answer was still no, theres no market for it!

lol, Mr x so badly wants one, he is seeing it everywhere. I hardly see any GTi's on the road funny enough.

adam, since you are a neutral, what your input on this ? if you were to choose between ST and GTi,
which one would you go for and why ?

i have driven both and prefer the GTi ...
1. GTi is a very well built car ... not that the ST is bad either ... but its just that the GTi to me feels so much more well put together (hence its excellent resale value) ... definitely a quality product
2. performance on the ST even though on paper stock vs stock is quicker felt less engaging than the GTi ...
3. Handling on a GTi is amazing ... did not test that with the ST ... around a track which is quicker?
4. GTi just looks nicer to me ... inside and out ...
EDIT: also people who know me, know the cars i have driven and owned and when giving them advice i always tell them get the GTi ... been pushing my ex GF to get a GTi as well as a good friend at work ...
this are all my opinions ...

I have a question...:
I've been driving my brother's '05 GTI a few times and i've noticed that seems more edgy and racier than mine. The power seems to come even from a slight touch of the accelerator, whereas mine, an '08 GTI seems to be a bit more sluggish.
So anyways, last night I was driving his GTI and a Focus ST pulls up next to me, i drop it in S mode and press....the ST could only manage to stay at my back tyre, after that, the guy had to back off.
Now, in my understanding, the ST should've been able to at least stay in front of me (when comparing it to a stock GTI). I know for sure that my brother's GTI is stock, but he says that he noticed the power difference after he took it in to VW and complained that the car was being a bit sluggish. What could they have possibly done to this car?? or am I just imagining things and its running at the same power as mine??
Oh and by the way, I dyno'd my car a few weeks back and managed to hit 178bhp ATW. Dunno if thats normal or not for a stock GTI
