Nice! Fnb in discussions to bring Nexus 5 to their smarphone devices range. This could save everyone some cash, so long as u can wait a bit.

Hmm, will they sell it or bundle it with something from FNB? Dying to see what price they offer it at!

Probably part of the devices deals (i.e. 24 monthly payments). Which sucks - would like to buy it cash!

Well, looks set to be sold stand alone for now. We're far off bundling the devices with something else...

You can settle your device contract early, but forfeit the discounted price by doing so...

Its not going to be anywhere near as good pricing on the Nexus 5. Its always going to be cheaper getting it from the play store, but shipping and waiting will take quite a while.

Yeah - colleague of mine bought two for him and his sister (who's in SA). She doesn't want it - so I'm buying it from him when he comes to SA end of Nov.

What's the best/cheapest way to pay somebody in $'s?

Amex has the best rate, Rennie's the worst. Most banks somewhere in between except nedbank who are a rip off
