the Nexus One is made by HTC. It has the exact same specs as the new HTC Bravo.
Why get panicky that we wont get the Nexus here. Just get the Bravo. Same phone, same 2.1 android. Only difference will be the custom UI that google put on it, whereas you will get HTC's custom UI, doing all the same tasks and procedures with just diff looks. Not to mention HTC's very competitive prices here.

Just like you get Apple fanbois.. you get Google ones too - Apple is rebranded Unix, Google phone is rebranded Bravo.. Im still happy with my Google phone order :)
 
I still think the Hero is a good phone. Sure, it has a slower processor than the nexus/bravo, but I don't have to wait, and the hero is becoming more affordable on lower end packages. Getting my hero in 5 days on a upgrade, and can't wait.

MP3 support is a standard format on all Android phones, and I would therefore think should be handled by the integrated media player on any one of them. Certainly the case on my HTC Magic.

- R4202 with delivery to the UK, but there will be import duties to pay so I'm assuming all in all it'll probably cost me in the region of 5-5.5k
- I already have an account @ http://www.my-uk-mail.co.uk/ - so I used them, http://www.myus.com/ would probably be a cheaper option

I'll answer the rest when I get it, it has not left the US yet, takes 72 hours from order according to Google if you require an engraving on the back of the phone.

Lol @ the video. this guy cracked me up.

Especially where he compares zooming in on a web page to opening up a vagina. The Nexus One DOES have multi-touch, you little f*uckers.
 
Well multitouch isn't supported in the States due to Apple holding the patent for it, but that isn't the case for EU and, by extension, us.

Its just the Google apps like gmail and the stock image viewer and browser etc that dont have support for pinch zoom etc. But any third party android app can implement it. There are tons of free image viewer apps as well as browsers. There are also lots of replacement keyboard apps that change the stock android keyboard, and add multitouch. There will be support for Swype this year aswell.

Multi-touch = Outside USA, no Multi-touch = USA. It basically the same story with the Milestone/Droid.

Have your driver's license and your recent credit/debit card records electronically in case they need verification. But it's quite quick because delivery is free overnight to where ever in the USA. The phone can only be bought officially online currently.
