GTA 5 PC

I own a broken game. The discs are damaged and I bought a retail copy. Part of that product I purchased are physical discs. Why would I choose to keep them?

Because you've claimed the product code already. If it wasn't claimed then obviously Kalahari could pass it back along to their supplier.

Doesnt change the fact that the product arrived damaged. They cant sell it on to any one. They will probably still send it back to the supplier.

In other countries you could probably get away with asking for the media discs again, not sure how easy it would be there. Maybe contact Megarom?

I don't think you will get a replacement disk any time soon, you may get one but will take a while so start your download xD

Was high on the to-do list (see what I did there :p ) but has gone back to what I remember most about GTA. Carnage :D
For any interested, post your Online name (not sure whether you add friends ingame or via the social club).

Can possibly form our own crew, do missions together for bonus XP and eventually Heists :)

Social Club: Phreeseed
Ingame: Kaine

idea bookmarked, :D

The actual product is the key, not the discs.

I disagree, I think when you buy retail, part of that product is what you hold in your hands. Obviously the key entitles me to download the product, but then I would have just got it off steam in the first place.

The discs are pointless without the key tho. You have used the key so you have essentially 'soiled' the retail product.

I agree the discs are part of what you buy, but then you should not have activated the key. Doing that means you accepted the product as is. If it was a problem you should have sent it back unused.

Fair enough. Unfortunately this is gta. I have been waiting for it for many months, and in the spirit of the game, I think Ill be making an exception here. :)

Hopefully they refund you without checking the product key first :)

They won't replace the entire game as you used the key, they may replace the single disc. Rockstar charges 15$ I think to replace the discs.

Good luck though, if you want to start playing suggest you get downloading else good luck with Kalahari.

Shyte situation, though.

I cancelled my physical copy order and just got it off steam.

Worked out "well". I use quotes as that largely depended on whether you had a large cap or are uncapped. The 5Gb patch was included in the Preload.
