Oh well in that case you can send Emanuel so long, i have the luck of getting him EVERY time!!! Does he even know how to turn on a computer? Shawn is the most helpful person around there and has sorted out my problems EVERY time i spoke to him, that man deserves a HUGE raise!:D

Mr Screamer question. Is my Routers Mac address or PC's Mac linked to my IP from Screamer? Reason for asking is I had Zerowire Router and could only make PPPOE from one spesific PC. Got new Airlive Router same issue can only make PPPOE from one Specific PC. I Also Bought a Dlink Router that Handles my wireless inside my house and the DHCP, It can also act as a PPPOE Dailer and it does the same no PPPOE connection. Why can only one PC do this? I had to setup Internet connection sharing on this PC to get internet access for the rest of my house

There is no link between your Mac addresses and your IP. The Router must be set up to perform the PPPOE connection and not the PC, then all PC’s behind the router on DHCP will have Internet without having to share.

Why cannot I the create a PPPOE connection from my laptop or any other PC if no other PC is connected to my network? So it is Antenna with router then Laptop.
 
Because PPPoE works over Ethernet, at a Layer-2 level.
As soon as there's a router involved, the Layer-2 "network" is broken.

was surfing happily last night, then at 8:30 my connection started doing EXACTLY the same thing it did before, phoned the reseller this morning, now apparently its the tower...i'm starting to think i payed R350 for nothing...
 
My PPPOE problem finaly sorted. Solution - change my account password with Screamer. Account was screwed. WEIRD! but yeah everything working again.

maybe you should go there and take a photo for us ... would be interesting.
 
I was connected to the Wapadrand tower. Had bad connection...upgraded my equipment...better, but still bad. Found out my exchange now support ADSL and cancelled my subscription. Now have ADSL. It was the best dicision i've ever made.
 
WOW!!

This could be why the subs connected to this tower gets the service they do.

A proper (no moisture dust etc.)environment for telecoms equipment is a basic thing(common sense) how could Screamer not know this?:D

Hi there Genie

This is either a hoax or you have your wires crossed:D. I assume a hoax because you have started another thread to get maximum exposure from your "photos".
Needless to say this is not our installation or our equipment and if you pm me your contact deatils I would be happy to arrange for you to visit your tower and hopefully you will post photos of your real tower here again, (if you are a genuine client.)
