Never bought from Evetech. How is their after sales support if there are issues?

Hi. I'm buying a new released CPU for my new PC build and it's the last component I need. I've read terrible experiences with evetech. What's your experience with them? The cost of product is R3550 Evetech beats competition on price but not by much, though evetech include 3 month xbox game...

80+ rating is only one part of the story. You need to look at ripple as well. looks for example gigabyte had a unit that was 80+ gold but it was so bad it kinda exploded. Gamersnexus did a video on it.

Could be any of the tiers.. there is no direct correlation between tier and efficiency ratings.. it's best to just lookup the PSU you intend on buying and seeing where it sits on the tier list and decide from there if you are okay with where it is..

I've used Barrier on Windows and *nix. It's awesome. Also Free Open source etc.
Edit: To clarify, that's switching between Windows and Linux seamlessly.
It lets you configure stuff like switching edge, so I had a big monitor and a laptop at the time. I configured it to switch to the laptop only when I moved my mouse to the bottom edge of the big monitor.

Or if one screen's on the left, you config it to switch only at the left edge etc. VERY cool.
And keyboard follows mouse, so whichever device's monitor your mouse is on, Kbd will type on that screen. (I guess that's minimum requirement for these tho).

Thanks. I had issues with the current version 2.4.0 on macOS - it didn't generate the cert needed to operate - once I troubleshooted that and fixed it, it then couldn't connect to the Linux Server (despite me checking connectivity via netcat). So it seems a bit hit and miss in terms of getting it to work...

If I have some time on the weekend I'll give it another go.

How do these programs run your KB and mouse with no lag between 2 systems, I'm assuming you are still only using one wireless dongle for the devices, like a Logitech unifying receiver and that's only plugged into one of the systems?

It runs over the local network between the two devices.. basically software keyboard/mouse over the network..

Great - very happy with it.

I love being able to float between 2 laptops on one screen (without a KVM).

My only 2 gripes are:
1.) You need to be smack bang centre in front of a curved display or you have issues.
2.) I need a bigger desk!

Yes it runs over the local network as WASlayer said.
It's very fast, no lag at all.
And I didn't even have the Logitech at the time. Was using a cheap Redragon mouse and a usb kbd. No problem.
(Can't use it now cos my new work laptop won't allow me to install Barrier). Luckily I was already upgrading to the Logis. I'd prefer Barrier tho - 2 button presses versus zero)

Surely one can calculate it? So 18W at least, unless it can do multiple outputs at the same time.

Looks like 18W. OK for phones but you're not gonna be able to top up a laptop or fast charge a really high end phone. Kinda loses the point of having PD.

Rather get this. I got one for my father in Nov. It came with 70% battery life, the instructions said drain the battery before charging. It took him close to 3 months to drain it from 70% to 10% with frequent usage.

Its huge and heavy though, weighs almost a kg

I have one of these, hardly ever charge it as it lasts forever. Powers my MacBook as well.
