The only problem with these drives is they use two drives as one. This is bad news for backups. If one fails, you loose your data.

Yip, and one would assume that if you fiddle about with it too much , like rip it open and faff about with the drives themselves or reconfigure them in any way, that you will void the warranty.

Well, the same can be said for a single drive system as well. If it fails you will also loose your data. That's why it's important to have two methods of back-up for important data (e.g onto DVD and onto a External HDD).

Just a quick note - depending what you prefer regarding Delivery and what else you are ordering, Prophecy might work out a tad cheaper for you.

They had the drive for R1400. BUT, they lowered it to R1399.67 (With Free Delivery) to compete with Nivo's offer it seems...

I love it! :D

Also saw the [SIZE] tags went AWOL... :confused:

Howzit ... I don't normally like to spam / advertise or whatever ... so mods if you don't like this, you can just delete :) ... but I am doing Seagate 250GB SATA 8mb Cache at R489 while stocks and the special lasts at my supplier. That price isn't on my site, but if you are interested ... either PM me, or place the order on my site ... and just mention in the notes thats you want the special price as per MyADSL. But don't pay until I can confirm there is still stock.

My friend bought 3 2232GW from Nivo for R2500 each, special price because the owner of Nivo felt bad about not having all the other LCD's he requested in stock.

Oh, computersonly has the Logitech G15 for R699 (Most other places sell it for R8XX), I ordered and paid for one but they will only have stock next week.

Yeah ... Nivo has good service (me 2 ;) ) and their site is awesome ... if I could I would have a site like theirs ... but I can't afford to get one developed. They have a system that sms's you when orders are sent out and keeps you updated ... I try keep my tracking updated too, but it isn't near as good as theirs. Deal with Antonia, she is a sweet lady. Although Antonia wants her sites colour design to be similar to mine :p ... I like my colours they're funky and trendy ... the way internet is going ... well IMO anyway :p

Its the Ajax that makes their site so powerful I think ... cause it doesn't have to load all the surrounding data every time.
