Good to know, but how would one go about finding the above tab on there? Someone mentioned Tegra 2 so it could be one of these?

After using XBMC I could not go back to my WD media-payer.
which wd did u have?
WD HD TV LIVE or something like that. Its collecting dust atm. Even with custom firmware that shows artwork + movie info, it doesn't come close to XBMC in terms of functionality.

Ive never been able to get XBMC to work properly with my Asus Xonar card with HD Movies, often find it jitters. I have a very good machine (i5, 8gb memory, 1gb dd5 G Card, 500GB Caviar Black HDD, Asus p8p67 motherboard), when I use Media Centre, it works Fantastically well.

The Egreat R6A-II media player is selling for ~R570 at Rebeltech, Ikonicit etc. It's a standard Realtek RTD1185 based player which is the same processor that is used in the Mede8er 500X2 and 450 etc. This player has an Ethernet port which most of the other RTD1055 based players (Mecer MP1055, HP etc.) which cost roughly the same do not. You could also add a cheap Realtek RTL8191SU wireless adapter (~R165 Xtreamer adapter) together with an optional Manhattan USB extension dock (~R65 from Sybaritic/Esquire). Alternatively you could spend slightly more for an AMD E350 motherboard and a cheap mini ITX case.
