They are not strictly dictionary words. Go look up their original usage forms. People diluting the terms and using them incorrectly doesn't change those meanings. But I won't argue with you on this. You are clearly one of those that want to continue to dilute language so we eventually come up with new terms again for the old ones to correct the problem.

I dunno where you came up with the thought that "grey" actually means no customs and duties. That is your own invention right there

Parallel to me is the product that is locally available through official channels but is imported directly for whatever reason and may or may not be supported.

Grey is imported with no alternative being available locally.

After all the word "parallel" specifically relates itself to something else that is the exact same/similar.
 
Anyone know where I'll get the best price on a hard drive? Looking for a 512 GB 2.5 inch SATA drive for a laptop. Note not looking for a SSD, this is a old laptop which I'll pass down to my mother and the amount of times she'll be using it and mostly only for storing photos doesn't grant putting a SSD in there.
