Any good prices on 3 or 4 TB internal hard drives with 3-5 year warranty? ie WD Red, Purple (AV), Black, RE or SE's or the Seagate enterprise drives?
BTW - My most recent 3TB Seagate died 1 month after expiry of the warranty... Thus now my cost evaluation criteria is R/year/TB.
It will do duty in a Microserver, running Nas4Free (BSD) and ZFS as the generic media and backup server for all electronics in my home.
Check out the 51 inch Samsung plasmas, around the same price and will knock their socks off
Damn I am not sure what it is, but Takealot have some seriously well priced items. Recently their prices have become very competitive on certain items. I am not sure why but if you skim through their catalogue, these are what I come across.

Seagate Barracuda 3TB HDD 64MB Cache - SATA 3 - 6.0Gb/s

- R1370 inc Courier Delivery ( I bought 2)
WD Caviar Green - 3TB SATA2 6Gb/s 64 MB Cache

Yeah but you could earn up to 15% back in ebucks from Checkers...Thanks for the HDD prices.
I recently bought a whole lot of pet food from them. Much cheaper then Checkers/PnP
Okay...
So I'm planning on buying a 50" LED Tv this afternoon, and here are my options.
THIS
Telefunken 50" FHD LED TLEDD-50FHD @ R5999
OR
SANSUI TV STY1950 FHD LED @ R5999
OR
HISENSE TV 50K20 LED FHD @ R6999
Any clue's as to which is better, and also - any other suggestions?
Thanks Guys, You're awesome

The Hisense units I've seen lately have been Superior by means of picture quality.

Don't they also have the longest warranty?

Huh? No, 15% back in eBucks is equivalent to 15% in rand value. So spend R100 at Checkers and one would get 150 eBucks / R15 back.True. Thou you also earn eBucks at Takealot as well.
You save more with TakeAlot as well. 15% of the price is 1.5% cash...
