Anyone able to recommend any locally available Quick Chargers (For GS6). Samsung store sells the official one for R700!
US$7 on alixpress. Free shipping. Shipping time is about 4 weeks but it's like 90% saving. Flipping rip-off those retail prices

Could be an option but hoping for a local supplier

Specifically Samsung branded or generic? Head over to the S7 thread.
Doesn't have to be Samsung, thanks I'll post in the thread.

They make good amps. I believe their speakers are on the better side of decent. Should be some online reviews surely?

Reviews indicate it's a great deal at the price. I have a Yamaha AVR too, no that it matters. Currently using 20 year old speakers. Was wondering if this is the best deal out there, seems pretty good?

My Yamaha 5.1's have far outlived the amp; still using them daily, connected to a Marantz amp now - great speakers for the price.

They will pair nicely then. Most of the yamaha amps can be set to 6 ohms.

Don't think it has quick charge support. I can't go without QC now that I'm used to it
Oops thought fast charging = quick charging, so at least learnt something.

4-port output, total of 5.4A max
Automatic Device Identification
Fast charging support
Auto sensing IQ charging
Overcharging and Circuit protection
World travel friendly 100V-240V input support

Could you please explain how this works and where you bought from?

That model was replaced with the RX-V579. Basically 99% the same so I was happy to get the older model. Was marked down by about R4,000 to clear stock. Got it from Remedytec In Alberton (they couriered it to me).

Price was R7,240 incl shipping. But obviously I can't buy 40% off Checkers vouchers to pay them. So I bought R7,000 worth of Checkers gift cards for R4200 that I used over two months at Checkers. I bought the AVR cash. By saving at Checkers I offset the cost of the AVR. But to keep earning eBucks I didn't use the vouchers in one month but rather over two. I monitored my Checkers earning cap to determine when to switch between cash and cards.

Confusing, I know. But the maths works out.

I get you. Considering doing something similar myself

can confirm...Yamaha receiver with 6 ohm floor-standers (5-6 years old and can't remember model numbers offhand...think RX-V467 and Wharfdale Something 10.6).
