It has just over 1GB for storage. A SD card would be the best option if you have plans to use it for kids games etc

The tablet feels solid. It's made with a very hard white plastic. The buttons have a decent feel with a proper click. Camera is obviously crap and Android 4.4, even though it appears to be stock, is not very responsive. Lots of lag here and there with sudden moments of speed.

I hooked it up to iSpeed for iRacing to act as a wireless display for telemetry (fuel usage, split times, RPM etc). Works great for that. I won't use it for anything else: it will probably drive me mad since i'm used to my iPad Air and Nexus 6. Still a bargain for what you get.

Nobody seems to be selling them locally. Importing through Raru costs over R4000 which is a ripoff considering it doesn't even cost R1250 on Amazon.

If Amazon themselves ship it, how much will they charge for shipping , it's normally not to expensive.

Or best option is order it via Amazon or whoever is cheapest and use Aramex global shopper, because they charge by weight only and not by volume, an empty case is huge but not very heavy.
 
Best value for money 1TB external hdd available now? Need to replace current verbatim hdd.

Takealot seems reasonable. Esquire ones are adata. Not my first preference.
Incredible Connection seems overpriced?

With more than 20k AData units sold and with a 0.05% failure rate (One percent is the acceptable failure rate from all vendors) these are one of the most reliable drives on the market.

The new ones such as the AHD720 series with the rugged and shock proof casing we think will even have a lesser failure rate , as the most common failure rate on any brand of external drives is the handling of the drives and AData has built the new drives around these issues

Where did you get the quote from? Amazon doesn't want to ship it here and Aramex wants R1462. Actual unit weighs about 5kg but I took it at 7kg with packaging to be on the safe side.

Anyone know where to find a good but affordable e-reader? Doesn't have to be a kindle, the lesser known brands will do as well. I would prefer an e-ink display sort of like the Kobo mentioned a few pages ago. I don't have a need for Wifi or anything like that

In PE preferably :)

EDIT: Or someone near PnP Hyper Brackenfell that would be willing to grab me a Kobo e Touch one that was on special last week and ship it to me for a handsome reward:o

Have a look on Gumtree for a Kobo Glo, that's the best one

I have been eyeing this printer though for a while.

Printer 2

Which is the better option?

I hate printers as they always tend to give me issues. Have had canon printer and it was ok. Never used HP but my dad has it and seems to think it is great.

I did a quick check on cartridge prices and the HP seems cheaper, but not sure how many pages per cartridge anyway.

already placed my order for the daily deal one just in case stock runs out.

Have you looked at the Epson L220? It has ink that lasts 2 years on a fill. And it prints well.
