I admit, I'm really thinking of donating a bit of my cash to Mozilla for inventing Firefox

Has anyone here donated money or skills towards open source companies?

Our Paypal is not messed up in that sense. We can spend money but not receive it. This is because our Reserve Bank does not allow foreign funds in our accounts.

Go to the windows folder and look for the openoffice.org mirror. It's in there somewhere.

no. i leave that to the linux people, they have all the spare moola from not paying m$ for windows they can support open source!

I donated $10 to UNICEF once after the Asian Tsunami disaster of a few years ago. I wouldn't donate to OSS though, I'd rather donate to an organisation like UNICEF or some NGO which did decent work for the
poor and refugees out there.
