Computers + Art? So are you any good at graphic design? Designers aren't paid much but you could get a junior position for about R5k a month and at least you will learn a few things.
 
Help Pooky Make Money? Wtf? Pooky, you have to help yourself. Buy the classifieds or go online. Find an advert that calls for your qualifications. If the salary is greater than your current salary then apply for it. If you are too lazy to try then just be grateful for what you have. Oh, and stop trolling. It's a waste of your time and ours.

or if you are really creative, start a T-shirt design business, you could print them out in limited batches, and have some of your, oops sorry, I mean "hellotheres" and other members memorable quotes, such as:

I would buy that one, I really would!

so really, you can like do a sales pitch to RPM where you design and sell mybb branded T-shirts with some of the really funny quotes here on mybb - I get 10% of all sales for the idea, shot, now do the work.

You could try applying at incredible connection. I'm sure they pay more than 20 an hour.

Sensorei's suggestion is best imo. Accept a junior job, temp if necessary, then work your backside off & impress the boss.

Maybe you could try one of several options, you know for extra Lolly. Short Term. Mind. You'll have to leave your comfort zone but what is life without experience?

1. Become an Ice Road Trucker
2. Do something useful on an Oil Rig
3. Join the Oregon Axe Men for a season, chop down trees.
4. Fly to Alaska, (Unalaska) troll the waterfront and volunteer as a deckhand
on a crab fishing boat.
5. Join a cruise ship as a dance partner for horny octogenarians.
 
Just do as the rest of our brothers, rob a bank, cash delivery van, old granny, supermarket, shopping mall.
 
1. Why not put up advertisements where you offer to paint people's PC cases with art, landscape or picture scenes which they want? This can be done after-hours, and I'm sure you can earn a little bit extra by doing so.

2. Compile and publish a booklet "How to use Google/Bing for maximum efficiency" and sell it.

3. Offer to paint pictures/landscapes on people's house walls for a fee.
 
try to get in at ABI there minimum wage just went up to +/-R7500pm :)
dude on a serious note, try to get a weekend job (if you not already working weekends) at incredible connection or similar

As a sales person they get paid less.

I don't know if this is in all shops, but my brother currently works there full time and gets paid less and is forced to have medical aid. He also gets commission, but they've hired so many people that it's almost impossible to make enough sales to get commission.

So what ever you do, don't go to incredible connection, unless you have atleast A+ and want to work as a techy.

Their full time and partime rates differ afaik though.

I believe painting PC cases would require airbrushing skills. I am pretty hopeless at graffitti type art and so I probably could not help you.

They are pretty dam good pookster... if I gave you a photo of my twins could you paint it ?
