It can definitely be done however I don't think anyone would just do it without knowing you

Does anyone have any contacts that can get access to someone's details via their RICA registration?

I have unfortunately been a victim of a scam fsker at Carbonite and the only vaguely real details I have is his phone number (spoke to him).

I am reluctant to take it straight to the SAPS as I don't have much for them to work with - and doubt they would do much about it anyway. Would like to give me info than just a cell number to hopefully increase my chances of something being done.
