So now Religion is antiquated? Humanity needs to move away from it?

On what do you base this assumption? Through every step of human evolution they believed that there was something higher than them. Now just a few 100k years since the Homo species started walking the earth, you feel that modern Sapien Sapien has evolved far enough that he can be arrogant enough to say "Religion is antiquated!"

Even though religion is the one and only constant that withstood the test of wars, dictators and time?

I would rather suggest man should get off his ego and start relizing that there are more than just one nation living on this earth and we are stuck with each other no matter what we might think. By forcing our beliefs onto others we are only creating antagonism instead of creating mutual respect.

It's due to arrogant bastids through time which thought their **** heap smells the best that the wolrd has seen civilisations lost, knowledge lost, culture lost and most of all that little bit humanity also lost...........
 
Lol. That's about as likely as people finally taking the time to listen, learn and comprehend. Every fool needs someone to hate, it's detracts from their own shortcomings.

Loki, Odin, Thor?

The school I attended for my first 4 years of schooling told us stories of these mythical gods.
Used to get so engrossed in those stories, sitting there glued to my seat as a young boy. Mighty Thor with his hammer and the Sly Loki.

My family moved me to a Government School after that in Standard 3 and I have often wondered about those stories.
Should do a google search and refresh my memory. :)

They were great tales for a youngster, probably more symbolic of people in real life, but there is/was no truth in it and it remains mere tales.

That the Israelis used cluster bombs is pure speculation, and as for them not having morals? Hell, have a look at the scum they have to fight.And as far as I am concerned, the Israelis can wipe those camel jockeys off the face of the earth, any which way they can.

Firstly with regards to israel having no morals that is the biggest load of BS. Do you even know anything about israel?

they have been there to support so many countries, african and asian during times of crisis... tsunami's/quakes/etc.. do you see arab countries doing that?

why is it that every country that has a LArge muslim population has some sort of cival war going on? and u cant blame the jews for india vs pakistan, somalia, and all the other regional wars in north africa which are christians fighting muslims

no I mean decades... Fine, it won't be Bush, but it will be his successor (I don't think the yanks are quite gulliable just yet to allow that change of constitution, but it will happen. Already Americans enjoy far fewer 'freedoms' than they did 5 years ago and it;s only a matter of time before the government cooks up a plan to change the constitution, ooh like 'the war on terror'...)

@ ajak.. what makes you such a fan of Israel? and BTW in the context of this 'war' Israel has been flaunting conventions of war left right and center and to be quite frank, even though I don't care for Arabs much, I care even less for Israel. Who died and gave them the right to swan around the middle east telling everyone what to do? The Arabs were there first and Israel should be bloody thankful that they got a handful of sand to start with..

No but you can blame them for the illegal occupation of the West Bank in 1967 ( and the Gaza Strip that they have given back but are now re-invading it seems ), the violent oppression of the Palestinians for decades, refusing to recognise the Palestinian Govt, withholding urgently needed and due tax money, many violent attacks on Palestinian towns involving the deaths of many civilians, and so on and so on.

Israel has basically showed how archaic/inefficient Arab countries are. They've built a flourishing city from sand in a few decades while the Arab nations are still trying to catch up.

Also, while the Israelis were in the Gaza Strip, they contributed 10% of the GDP while only comprising 1% of the population. And when the Israelis left the Gaza Strip, the Palestinians go and blow it up.
