very true, as begrudgingly as it is to accept, once had somebody send though a 11 page CV with pictures of his dog and him scuba diving off the red sea.
its a CV not an online dating profile, nobody interested in your dog or any other crap.......
 
I think the reason you're getting butchered because of your spelling is something akin to this scenario:

You as an investment client receive a letter from your investment bank, updating you about some information concerning your portfolio:

Hallo dere Sir/Madame,

We are snding u dis letter to upd8 you about your port. and da movements in the mrkt dis past few months.

We see da mrkt changes as such ...

bla bla bla ...
bla bla bla ...
.......... etc.

As a client, you'd probably be stunned. Likewise, see your CV as a type of formal introduction you are sending to employers/clients.

They don't know you at all (unless it's a "connection" getting you a job) so your first (and sometimes lasting) impression is how you present yourself in text.

Slab....

I arranged for a position for you at the Samsung repair centre, you went for the interview yesterday and got the job but because you did not like the boss you left....

you did not even have the decency to tell the boss, you just didn't pitch up today and expected me to tell the boss you not coming?

that is the first and last I help someone out in getting a job,

at the end of the day I look like an idiot because I recommended you.

Well, I appreciate your effort, but that environment is a pain in the #... Ask you BF, treated like # day in, day out. Sorry, not for me.

BTW, I had to quickly vacate, as my sister was waiting for me outside and she was way late for work.

I'm trying to understand your point of view here, but do you understand the position you put those in that vouched for you in the first place? The least you could have done was to stand your man and tell the necessary manager and/or HR employee that you are not accepting the job.
Sure you had to leave in a hurry, so why not call and say you're not accepting the position? Can you see that doing a no-show the way you did is simply unacceptable?

That's why we need to know the whole story. Ok, in a way I was off a tad, I concede. But I did talk with his wife (boss no. 2), he wasn't around for me to stay longer, and left on an at least good note with her accepting that I'm leaving.
