How is cool ideas overall?

Hi Micham03, unfortunately the line reconfiguration is done by the network operator not us your ISP, pro's and cons with the IPC model.

Drop me a mail directly on paul at cisp.co.za and I will try and escalate for you with the network operator.

Hi Paul

Thanks, I have sent you an e-mail, please escalate so that i can move over.

I strongly believe in giving praise where praise is due. We often complain, but compliments seem to be rare.

+1 again for Cool Ideas, Support and Service are very good and our latest interaction showed that the company also deals with it's customers with honesty and integrity.

I cannot compliment that enough.

Thank you Cool Idea's (again!)

Agree there. Now if they could get twich going at full HD on Fibrehoods they would be perfect! I recommend them to EVERYONE around.

I thought the twitch thing was resolved? Can you drop me a mail on paul at cisp.co.za with your fibrehoods username?

Moved over last week from Webafrica to Cool Ideas.

Two words: Mind Blown.

Call center was good. Support staff were jacked. @PBCool was excellent.

But most importantly: performance is just plain brilliant. I battled with most international throughput on Webafrica, my logged ticket in this regard was last attended to over a month ago.

On CISP, I'm now hitting a consistent 12MB/s (using the same 100/50 line as before) on multi-part international downloads: my Fiber (finally!) consistently outperforms my old Uncapped LTE.

Couldn't be happier. Mad props to them.

Glad to hear it :).

Just an update. Streaming fine on laptop using Source (720p @ 60fps and 1080p @30fps)

Great service - love these guys!

any good?

I am currently using the same router from them, but I merely use it for streaming and browsing and some downloads, must I say these guys are on to something, flawless service 20/20 download and upload

@PBCool, is there an ETA when the fibre will be live in the dunvegan area?

TTConnect is doing the build in the area, but it's not going very quickly unfortunately.

I just want to throw in my hat into the ring.

It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with Cool Ideas. They were really helpful and came to my rescue with Vumatel was giving me the shaft. Really phenomenal customer support.

I'm finally up and running with my 100/100 line and it's running so beautifully.

Instant recommendation from me.

@PBCool - I have been looking at options for a while now, and I have decided to also go with CISP. Vuma are currently trenching in our area (they ran the fibre to our wall yesterday from the road, but I think everything is a long way off before we are connected yet). I have Pre-ordered the Vuma install, but have not yet heard anything - not too concerned though.

My question is - when do I contact CISP? Only once the Vuma install is done, or can I do it even now before the Vuma infrastructure is complete? I would need advice (and perhaps a site visit) from CISP to evaluate our needs.

Many thanks!

Sorry for the delay, was a crazy day.

Best bet is to apply with us once the Vumatel part is done, we courier the router the next day.

Which advice are you looking for? Installation related or internal network related?

rubbish, in my opinion, their international connectivity just drops often. its really frustrating when you are trying to play a ranked match on R6 Siege and then get a surrender sanction.

My 10mbps ADSL was better and had a lower EU ping.
