I think you may be braaing wrong.

Once a month for me. Used to be more, but I cut back on drinking.
I think so too. Well, neen told so lol.

I just don't have a need to focus on it that much heh.These days if I want a good braai I invite friends over - and they know i can't braai so i just bring out the meat and say here you go, have fun :)

Did you become one of those homosexuals I keep hearing about? That's the only possible reason I can think that one would stop braaing :oops:
Moffies don't braai? :oops:
@ShaunSA @epah

Families have left or drifted and we live a quiet lifestyle now, so not many friends coming over. Just sometimes make a chicken braai, but do miss doing more.

Might be that you’re not drunk enough. Sober guys tend to run around juggling all sorts of things. Takes a proper drunk to braai properly.

Lol i only braai every 2 months, i see no point to it really. I prefer cooking in the kitchen using a stove/oven/air fryer.

hahaha that could be it.

I generally spend my time running around like a headless chicken trying to make the perfect steak.

I have 2 thermometers, one connects to my Phone. and somehow I still burn it lol.

I air Braai now. Dont laugh. But 10 minutes 1 side and 2 minutes other side at 180C and it works very well. Just marinade with Lappies overnight. Sausages are about 14 minutes. Pretty much everything else can go into the air fryer too.

A braai is South Africa’s answer to the barbecue – but it’s so much more than that. It’s a special South African feast that can last for hours, and there are plenty of rules and etiquette around a classic braai.

The most important part of a braai is the fire. A traditional braai is cooked on local wood, while modern-day braai’s use charcoal instead, and both give the meat a distinct flavour. Using gas to cook doesn’t count as a real braai.

The real question is how much do you spend on a daily braai? I know for a fact @mbayshark spends at least R400 per braai
