You might want to notice that I've quoted old posts and made a general comment on old posts except Toxic's because I can. Still lots of other posts with priority over yours. But if it's so important to you, yes, I'm a witsie.

No, we just don't care anymore... you maybe have stopped the violence (couldn't be arsed to check), but you as a group were violent, therefore your voice is now irrelevant.

Fair enough, but, as a serious question, can you explain the SRC's reluctance to let the VC prosecute vandals? I'm trying to understand the SRC position but can't see what they gain by "protecting" those caught on camera vandalising. Surely it is more beneficial to them and their cause to dissociate from this?

What do you mean? Considering that any student that doesn't pay their tuition fees does not get a degree (regardless of academic performance), many students have nothing to lose (and something to gain).

And all the students who could pay, and wanted to complete their degrees have now lost 2 weeks of university time, as well as the damage to infrastructure and reputation...

The only people being hurt by this rioting are the students themselves in the long run.

Because ultimately universities will become like public hospitals and schools - not worthy, if they are not funded properly.

I think the whole purpose here is to get a figure on how many students want to sit at home and waste their lives and how many actually want to work and complete their education , if it proves that the majority want to resume classes they will make the decision to beef up security and continue or close the university.

Well they are still retarded and deserve to have their names plastered ALL over campus and social media linking them to an attempt to stop people actually going to university and getting their degrees.

The campus has been shut. That is why we don't see violence and intimidation. You just wait until they try to start that campus up again. It will be back to chasing kids out of lectures and throwing stones at police.
