Good luck with getting a nice pouch though. Not the easiest thing to get so you might have to order. I ordered through expansys and my order arrived today. Lab88 and none of the cellular shops seem to have stock.

By the way, congrats. Awesome phone.

One of my orders has arrived - just need to fetch it, not sure if its the pouch or the car holder.
 
I am using the Gingerbread Nexus keyboard now (free in Market) and its absolutely fabulous!

Feels the same as my iPhone keyboard & that says a lot. ;)

Ordered HTC pouch from Expansys via BidorBuy, and screen protector from martinfields.com . Hopefully I get the items within the 10 working days estimated time...

Hopefully I can stay strong and not turn it on... this feels like going to sleep alone on ones wedding night :P

ROFL!!! :D

I've used mine since day one without screen protector or pouch & still going strong. My phone already had a bounce on the tar road, but the aluminium frame absorbed the drop quite admiringly.

Two weeks now and not a ding or a scratch. Yes I am careful but this phone is also very robust!

Which area are you in? I've got spare screen protectors / pouches that you could take over from me if in the Durban area. You're punishing yourself - TURN IT ON! :)

Anyone still having problems with the Phone finding thing on HTC Sense? I've deleted mine about 10x and I'm still in Nigeria.

The Gingerbread Nexus S keyboard is now my Swiss Army knife app. :)
 
Forgive me if this has been discussed already (I have been on holiday for 3 weeks and haven't kept up to date with this thread since about page 99) ... :)

But does anyone know when an update to Android 2.3 will be available either via Vodacom OTA or downloadable from Leaf? I am contemplating rooting and installing a custom rom like cyanogenmod but would rather avoid the "hassle" if there is something in the pipeline for the near future ...

Anyone heard anything?

HTC havnt even released an update. the Evo 4G/Desire/HD/Z still don't have
