For those still considering, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR???? There currently isn't any better phone out there! Touch wood!!!
 
marine1, I would suggest you pop past Lab88 in the Cedar Square mall in Fourways. They should have live handsets to toy around with.

It'd be really sucky if you do get a DHD only to figure after 2 days you really shouldn't have gone from a full QWERTY to a touch-screen only device.

Should be free on a Talk 500, but best is to ask ocleroux or phone Vodacom Retentions on 082 1959.....the phone is quite expensive on the low-budget contracts (big pay-in).

That said is Garmin available on android....? I've been using it on my 5800 and it's worked excellent for me, especially the POI's....
 
Don't know if I mentioned it before, but I luv my phone! :)

But need a serious data plan on it!

It is an incredible phone! Never had something like this before - and I've had a lot of phones. :)

At the moment I have a 600MB data plan with it (when out & about) & use wifi when at home or work.

*Have you checked out HTC Sense (www.htcsense.com) Just makes the deal SO much sweeter. It's working now, if you want to give it a spin. ;)

*Just press the menu key when you've got satnav open, whip out your credit card and get it over and done with.
