HTC One X

well the one they sent me seemed fine but the blue sticker to protect the camera lens was left inside:(
they came out to fix it for me
was going well after that.but lost signal once or twice already
i dont think htc built this fone well. really frustrating
you had the signal, issues and arhd has sorted it out?

I did have the signal issues, not as bad as yours. I havnt picked up the phone and found that it has lost signal since I have installed ARHD, I have seen the phone loose signal in poor reception areas, but it finds signal again by itself, which it never did before always had to reboot.
 
replaced the one x with the s3. couldnt be happier. havent lost signal once...

i actually prefer the s3. feels more comfortable. also seems and feels quicker and smoother. the only thing i miss about the one x is friend stream but i will find a widget to replace it soon.

finally, the frustration is over and pebble blue is awesome...
 
how did you get yours replaced?
im tired and i dont want the one x any more
mine has been to htc 3 times, and they came out to me once
i want to send a letter to mtn asking to cancel this upgrade and let me upgrade to a s3

one question tho, those who had this issue do any of you guys have a cover? silicon or hard shell case?

i compained and mtn corporate decided to list it as dead on arrival. it took an awful long time though.
 
guess i should start complaining

roughly 5 to 6 weeks but it was because they didnt have stock of the s3. they took about two weeks to inspect the phone though..
 
Please give me their details if you can, so i can get the ball rolling
 
Wow. Reading the complaints makes be glad I returned my phone. After the second unit I refused to take any phone back from them.

Pity because I really like the build and that screen is too good.
Going back to my blackberry was painful.

Let's see if the HTC One X+ can fix all the issues people have had with the One X.

it really is a an awesome phone but pity the issues
i wonder if the one x plus will have the same issues
its either the sim hw or software issue

since mine got stuck last week.its been working well again.
the s3 is not as sexy as the one x. but i guess working network is more imporant

Yip running Ordroid's JB ROM on my rooted one X and its awesome, phone is just brill, good battery life (unless u di heavy gaming), I get 35 to 40 odd hrs from it, using the cam mod allows for 0 compression of photos, IQ is brill too.

or it may be the case that those with issues are the ones posting.

certainly my hox has been wonderful.
 
that might be true
but there are definately issues with alot of one's , either the software or hw is an issue

Well I was one of the unlucky ones. It is definately a great phone. I loved it, but there is no way I'm paying that much money for something that doesn't work 100%

Hopefully the One X plus does much better.

cant wait for jellybean maybe that will fix things
since my phone network got jammed 2 weeks ago.phone has been working like a dream again..maybe it was just a mtn issue

do you guys have the grey colour? the ones with no issues? or white?

Is there any indication of when Jelly Bean is going to be released?
 
Apparently it supposed to start in october. but we only have like 5 or so days left
it will probably start rolling out on the last day somewhere in the world
and no one knows how long s.a will take to release it to us
