Morning All

I have been using Huawei B525s-65d router. My observation so far, it switches Cell_ID on the same tower.
First pic is @1800MHz (Cell ID 5700106) the other two 2300MHz (Cell-ID 5700096 gives 4G+ and 5700099 4G)
Look at Cell_ID, mine does switch @2300MHZ between 2 cell Cell_ID's.
The one Cell-ID gives me 4G+ see attached pic.

If I play around on the @1800MHZ i will also find that it jumps between 2 Cell-ID.

Anybody else noticed.

Yes I have seen the same with a 4G+ tower - since it was enabled there is now a xxxxx44 and xxxxx47 Cell ID - the 47 gives 4G+

How are the 4G+ Speeds?

The same tower, different sector antenna.

Its your router searching for best possible signal.. and yes these signals have to have different IDs else your router will be highly confused..lol

If B525 do not have IP reservation option (like previous models), read on.
How did you confugure PS4? Autromatic, or a static IP? For LAN filtering you need to set device on static IP. When you set static IP on PS4, you must obey common rules:
- chose IP address outside Huawei DHCP range
- set manually IP for "Default Gateway" and "DNS server", point it both to the Huawei IP address. On most devices once you set static IP, you must configure these things too.

I believe the PS4 has 2 MAC addresses. One for wireless and the other for wired. Did you put the correct one in the modem settings?
