After unofficially going on pre-order earlier this month, the Huawei P Smart (2019) is now officially official.

The specs haven't changed but we'll rehash them just in case. The P Smart (2019) has a 6.21-inch IPS LCD of 1080x2340px (with Eye Comfort Mode or Blue Light Filter, in layman's terms), a 12nm Hisilicon Kirin 710 paired with 3GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage and a 3,400mAh battery.

For imaging (and video) the Huawei P Smart (2019) has a 13MP f/2.2 main camera with a 2MP depth-sensing second sensor and an 8MP selfie camera.

Huawei will bring the P Smart (2019) to select European markets, priced at R4 125.80 (€250)with shipments expected to start on January 2. In the UK the Huawei P Smart (2019) will cost R2 720.95 (£149) through EE, CarphoneWarehouse and O2 and will begin shipping on January 11.

but in terms of design, I still think the old PSmart looks better than the new one

That notch looks pretty small compared to last year's implementation from Huawei

Yeah I can live with that notch. Hopefully this is the way Huawei moves forward if they continue with the notch

This was already posted here by @Sumen, but I guess it is more appropriate here in the Huawei section.

Yep, they often referred to as teardrop notches, many new phones have them.
