Hi guys

So here's the deal. I am currently on Afrihost's 30GB mobile data deal. I pay around R800 for 30GB which is a really steep considering the cost of fiber, but I'm not in a fiber area :( Apparently the adsl line in my area is also pretty terrible and no matter what line speed you're on, it tends to run under 1mbps anyway. It was suggested to me to try bitco, but apparently they don't offer home packages anymore. I am not in the LTE coverage area.

Preferably would like to stay away from contracts, but will consider them if there's a good option.

30GB is way too little for me, especially since I'm going to be needing to do PS4 updates soon.

Any advice?

Am I missing anything?

Thanks!

Before writing off ADSL as an option I'd check to see what's available at your address here - https://secure.telkom.co.za/today/ucm/#

and, if decent speeds are available, query exchange congestion with TelkomZA via a PM.

Get the mtn 50gb deal when they have it next. Maybe even get 2 of these packages, then you will have 100gb in total.

Works out around R220 for 50gb data a month and you can sell the phone that comes with the deal also.
