iPhone 13 contract vs prepaid comparison

Yeah, I've had my iphone 6 for 6 years, iphone 5 and 4 before that. It still runs fine but am looking to upgrade to 6S (R2000 about on gumtree) just to get latest ios so I can try a pair of airpods pro as hearing aids.
The 6s still runs iOS smoothly, although the battery life isn't great even with a new battery. I expect to keep using the phone for another 2-3 years before needing an upgrade.

You must be furious all day long when you see people walking past you with Rolex watches, driving past you in Porsches, pulling up into expensive driveways.
Only if they drive them slowly. That's just a waste of a good car.

Pretty much all the major companies oppose this. It's not even restricted to gadgets.
Yes and no. The medical hardware industry, John deere and Apple are the trend setters when it comes to anti Right2repair lobbying as well as removing you ability to fix you own items. Other companies are merely imitating them, since the above named companies are/were uncontested uptil recently.

Apple is the biggest shillers, selling a view of being eco friendly when they are the biggest threat to eco and sustainability. With more serious issues such as planned obsolescence of your purchased good. I don't have to set my phone location to France to stop it from dying quicker, but you sure do with an Apple.

So putting it out there. Buying and supporting Apple in 2021, makes you exactly the same as a kiddy r@pist sitting in Pollsmoor.
