iPhone 15 Rumours & Release Date

My 13 Pro Max did that over the weekend and I never thought anything of it lol.

My order was processed for the 15 Pro Max 256gb yesterday and the iStore and they’ve apparently shipped it, but there’s still no tracking info or number, even if I use Inspect to check. So they’ve gotten new stock this week it seems.

My 15 Pro Max 256gb in natural titanium delivered today quote unexpectedly. Hopefully the backlog is starting to clear for others.

Lots of Natural Titanium’s it seems. Will be easy to purchase one next year then when you all upgrade :p

Nothing worse than the ultra-thin coating wearing off. No risk of that with the natural titanium. Also natural titanium looks the best.

Courier IT messed up my delivery. They assumed my address is in JHB when it doesn’t exist in JHB. So now another wait for a few days until it gets to Durban.

Apple truly got the message when it comes to USB and transfer speeds, with their focus on ProRES and Cinematic video, it only makes sense that a Pro iPhone got some proper USB speeds.

15 Pro Max USB-C transfer speeds absolutely obliterate Samsung S23 Ultra:

Anybody having issues with screen image retention / burn-in? I’ve seen a few too many posts on Reddit and MacRumors about this issue recently. Seems to only be happening on Pro models, especially the Pro Max.

Definitely not caused by always on display. Most likely just a bad batch of screens that passed QC.

15 Pro and Pro Max users should check their screens. The issue won’t be visible to the naked eye or during normal use. Check your screen at different brightness levels in a dark room with a solid grey image filling the screen. Image for test

There's a user on MacRumours with the same issue. Severe burn in.

Thanks for posting.

Fortunately the conclusion is that it appears to be extremely rare and qualifies as ‘out of spec’ and eligible for return.
