I don’t think you’re on the same planet as the rest of us then. I would say if you can get a 15 Pro at 75% of the price of a 16 Pro you're doing well.
But then your sums might be clouded by the fact you're trying to buy a stupidly cheap iPhone 15, aren’t you?
Thank you. I was speaking more about a new 15 Pro vs 16 Pro than a used one.
Anywhere within the range of 10-15%, but then again if I can afford 90% of the price for a year old device I would rather get the new one. Unless I have extreme love for the outdated model. 10,000ZAR is a reasonable price for a year / 2 year old device used device. Doesnt make sense to pay more than that if you go trade in check how much do they offer you, probably less. My sums are clouded by my love for new shiny things with warranty. When I need to get a used one I truly want to get value in money saving to make up for all the unknowns.

The iStore gave me a R21,500 trade-in on my 15 Pro Max 512GB when I bought the 16 Pro Max 512GB, so only paid R15,500 for the 16 after trade-in.
Might have gotten a bit more selling privately, but that's a pretty good deal from the iStore.

Okay, thank you. Wasn’t trying to be snarky, I’m genuinely asking if there’s a specific improvement that makes it worth it.
I honestly wasn’t being rude, I haven’t upgraded my 15 pro. I don’t think there is any life changing improvements a year later. The honest fact is most pple who do yearly upgrades do it because they can, no matter the phone or device.
