Iphone 3GS stuck in loop

Waaiiiit!

Bear with me, but are you SURE you are in DFU mode. I only ask because a lot of people get confused between DFU and Recovery mode.

When in DFU mode, the iPhone screen should stay blank, and iTunes will pop up saying it has detected a phone in Recovery mode (ignore the recovery bit), as long as the phone screen is black, it is in DFU mode.

Also, when you try to restore, what happens?

Yes im sure Fxit_man. Screen was blank and iTunes detected a phone in recovery mode. I just get a error code 9

Ok. And you've tried multiple PC's, cables, disabling antivirus etc.? I will gladly take the phone if you want to throw it away

Yep tried diff cables, Tried a XP, Vista and Win7 PC (dont have access to a MAC) I am starting to think it is a hardware issue coz if you use redsnow then it runs all the way, stuff happening on the phone and when it reboots, same ****.
