iPhone 5 SA stock shortages being resolved

iPad Mini's are extremely rare in South Africa. I was also looking for the wifi only version but had to settle on wifi+3g because Core did not stock it. I battled to get one in any event so I just took it. I had to phone them every morning. When I learned stock arrived I rushed in and got one. Come on Apple. Why always the stock issues?

Some people like it?Each to their own I guess.Especially people who have previously had iphones may want to go for it.

However having said that Cell C's Iphone 5 16gb deal for R399-00 with 200 anytime minutes per second billing,200 sms's and 500mb of data is just too good to pass up,this deal beats even Cell C's s3 deals or one x deals hands down!
I managed to get hold of one of those deals on launch day at my local Cell C but decided to sell the iphone 5 and buy an s3 instead with some change left over for other goodies.I personally prefer the s3/htc one x and nokia lumia 920 over the iphone 5.

Why anybody would bother trying to take out an iphone 5 with MTN or Vodacom when Cell C has a deal that far exceeds their deals is weird though.

The Cell C deal is IMO the only way to get an iphone 5 at a reasonable price in this country.

Totally... it's a spectacular deal and it changes the value scale of anything else that's on the market currently. I'm actually mulling on this for my next upgrade in a year, whereas I wouldn't have considered getting a top end smartphone previously.
 
whats the use of having i5 but i only get edge on mtn 95% of the time. mtn your network sux.

The MTN network is an insult to an iPhone. I ported to Cell C on the Straight Up 200 deal. Much cheaper and a better network. I bolted another 500 meg onto my existing bundle @R75. Now I have one gig on my iPhone. MTN wont see me again. Good riddance.
 
Yeah I said the same to MTN after they simply refused to come to the pricing party.

I previously used mtn for almost 11 years but last year went on to a cell c straight up 100 month to month package and when this iphone deal came up I just had to grab it with both hands :p.By this point in time I was already convinced that the Cell C network suited my needs with enough 3g coverage in the areas i frequent.

I just won't spend R1400 more on something that will never get used (3G). I'd rather just wait until they aren't as popular anymore.
 
Received a heads-up from Core that they've received stock and have distributed it to all their iStores.
