iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus announced

That knock on feature is the best invention to come out from LG. I can't live without it and now I've developed this habit of tapping all touch screens.
Can't agree more. It's become indispensable to me. Knock off is useful but knock on is revelatory.

I doubt it will ever happen. The bottom home button is also a big branding area for iPhones. It's the top bezel that puzzles me though. Then again, I guess phone height is actually less of a factor than width and thickness. I hardly ever reach to the top of my G2 and my hands spend probably 80% of the time skimming the bottom except for the notification bar.
Tope bezel will always be equal to the bottom bezel. Ive is a designer and they're obsessed with symmetry...

I expect that to change in the future, just like they eventually decided to make bigger phones. The competition is only getting stronger and huge bezels will only be tolerated for so long.

I saw this graph which really puts the launch into perspective.

The only thing this graph tells me is that there are more idiots than I initially thought.

How many different phones runs iOS?
How many different phones runs Android?
Do you understand the difference between a concentrated and a distributed market?

Once you understand those figures, you'll understand why you can't read into those types of graphs to much.

And I'm not trying to say anything bad about Apple, but seriously just use half your brain power to realize that graph makes no fscking sense.

Yeah. Too big but the camera and superior battery make it appealing. Local pricing is going to be key for me.

Absolutely; also why the marketshare arguments are fairly groundless.

I was waiting to see a review on the camera, sounds really good.

Oh boy. Competitors may in recent times have been able to reach the image quality levels of the iPhone, but the consistent results under any conditions, UI, and tap to focus speed has always gone to the iPhone. The iPhone 5s camera really blew me away, and by the review, the 6 is sure to leave nothing desired.
