This phone is an absolute beaut!

As hard as it will be to cover it up, I need to now find a cover for it - any ideas where to find in Cape Town? Would love one of the Spigen but shipping could take some time.

Jealousy is not fun...
I already have a cover in my drawer waiting for the day. Got it from Takealot, they should have a whole bunch and if you order from your new phone using their app, delivery is free :)

They only seem to have a hand full for the iPhone 6 Plus and I am not a fan of those flip cover ones either.

Stock still a problem? I've already had my Space Gray 6 64GB replaced by istoreonline.

Process was relatively painless. They picked the phone up a day late but I received the new unit the very next day.

Is replacement stock separate from sale stock?

Yeah not a fan of those either. I prefer the solid thin ones, something like this: Spigen Thin Fit

Can't find it locally anywhere...

I got one of these from BidorBuy and quite impressed with it. This seller is in Joburg, but delivered within 2 days to Cape Town. Still waiting for phone though....

They are selling many others as well. The Ozaki one also looks nice:

Again those seem to be for the iPhone 6 and not the Plus.

I am just going to order the Spigen one and head out to the shops today and buy another cheap one to use in the meantime - no idea how long it will take to arrive tho that is my only problem.

Unless I go out and I see a nice one.

Must be that they warehouse replacement stock separately then.

I find it strange that the iStore is battling to take on more stock... It's been nearly a month.

Have you signed on to the waiting list?

I signed on to every waiting list I could find for MTN, Vodacom and iStore. MTN I pre-registered in the first 2 hours when the opened it up, never heard from them again. I also pre-registered and wait-listed for the iPhone 4S round long ago, also ended up waiting 2 or 3 months before hearing anything. My conclusion is that waiting lists and pre-registrations are useless and ignored, unless you "know a guy" or bribe a guy. Vodacom came out on top though, they did eventually call me and I placed an order with them. They warned me about stock levels and even suggested that I pick Silver to get one sooner. So next time round I'm just going to order the thing online as soon as possible rather than chasing around in angst staring into the blank uninterested faces of store employees (again, some of them were good, iStore mostly).
