iPhone Called Failed problem on Vodacom

Do you think this Call Failed issue has anything to do with the BL?

I am starting to get this now more often. When I was on the 4.6BL I never had this issue, only once i downgraded BL.

Is anyone still having this same issue?

Difficult to say... but with pwned you can upgrade your bootloader using BootNeuter.
My BL was always original 4.6 but I have neutered it now and I'm currently on the latest baseband ;)

It's such a ball ache! It always takes 2 attempts to make a phone call...

Finished d/l the BL files, sorry I confused you. Found my 3G sim card, will try get the torrent down now. Which torrent client you recommend? (Ive never used torrents) :)

Well I'm not a torrent expert but I'm using Bittorrent 6 which is just good ol utorrent :)
utorrent 1.5 many say is the best but you'll need to download it from filehippo since it's a legacy version.

When the torrent file is downloaded and launched make sure to only tick the iphone file or you will downoad both the iPod and iPhone firmwares.
 
Anyone still experiencing this annoying 'Call Back' issue? It's taking me 2-3 attempts every time now to make one phone call :( and I am using my 64k Sim Card and Baseband 4.6...

I just wish there is a patch that would sort it out! :(

Okay after spending a little time reading through international forums, i stumbled upon this:

It is a localisation issue. Are you on 1.1.4? Update to 1.1.4, download iPlus and perform the unlock, jailbrake and activation. Go into installer add in wpool.com/iphone as a source, then go into Localisation and install the 3 items in there.

Alternatively, you could just download the International payload for iPlus but you won't get the groovy logo's that Simon created.

:: Second Possibility - iPhone is buggy (Press Power Button for 2 secs > Slide to Power Off > Power On again)
:: Third Possibility - Do not disable Show My Caller ID in Settings > Phone > Calls > Show My Caller ID > ON

I haven't got my iPhone with me at the current moment, will only be getting it back tomorrow morning, so I cannot test it this.

Will let you know once I get my hands back on my iPhone and test it.


Update: Don't bother with that wpool.com source - it's for Australia only! :(
