iPhone prices compared from 5 online stores

Online shoppers in South Africa will likely find the best iPhones deals on Takealot.

MyBroadband compared the availability and pricing of Apple's smartphones across five major online retailers — Amazon South Africa, Takealot, iStore, Incredible, and Woolworths.

Should we kiss goodbye Amazon, iStore, Incredible Connection and Woolworths?

I don't know about destroys. They do offer a lot more options but on price Takealot were only cheaper on 2 models and 1 was by R500 and the other R49, Amazon was cheaper on the 1 model by R2000??

With all the Apple scams on Takealot I would be reluctant to use them for something this expensive.

I used to be a CSR (Customer Service Representative) for Canada's largest network - Bell Mobility, there I was asked every day why is it that Amazon offers the same phone as the retailer but for a cheaper price. The answer at least in Canada was that if you buy the phone from Amazon and if there's an issue with the phone then you can't bring the phone to the retailer for repair work. You would have to mail it directly to the 3rd party company for repair work. Where as if you spend a little extra at the retailer then you can return it to any brick & mortar company of the same name (ie. iStore) and they'll repair or exchange it for a refurbished or new device.
