IS says that problems on their ADSL network have been resolved

ADSL subscribers using Internet Solutions’ network have been complaining about packet loss for days. IS says the problem was resolved

Well, my main ISP is cybersmart...not sure which backbone they run on. I use Afrihost for wow cause the pings are, correction, were better.

Sure, my uncapped connection runs through IS from OpenWeb... to the tune of 600 to 900 Gigs a month. Why do you ask?

No, it's NOT been resolved. Still only getting 5kbps, websites takes ages to load (if it ever loads), and pings are terrible on xbox live.

edit: Im using Afrihost uncapped 384, and I doubt Ive downloaded a full 15gbs yet....

When last did saix have any issues like this one? It seems these days, if your on an IS based account you are trading reliability for capacity (seacom issues and packet loss like today are good examples). Saix has lower ping and is rock solid reliable.

Before this IS had the best latency for xbox live. I tested IS,Cybersmart,SAIX and Neology backbone. All was bad except for IS that was the best. Now packet loss and constant disconnects....

And btw amd I the only one that can't connect to international?

Must be for you or your opinion cause I find that IS is better than SAIX. Way lower latency. In fact I get lower latency on my IS Uncapped than a 2GB SAIX capped account.
