Since most of the affected services are advertised here, I think he would be very concerned.

Ok, if MrBeep and resellers of IS's packages cant communicate or get info out of IS you think RPM can? Sure RPM is trying and i salute him for that, but honestly, has anything he tried or suggested actually been implemented or listened to?? My personal opinion, myadsl forum is like church, a refuge and belief in something/someone that can be praised but no rewards/actions are reaped. (Basically, a false belief)

At least I have discovered I am not alone.

I have been battling with ODS since December, when I first started noticing the shaping. This last week has been awful... "Heroes" has 13000 seeds and I have downloaded 5.67 megs in 25 hours.

Seriously, *that* is ridiculous.

I can confirm that IS do indeed shape traffic on some of the ADSL services. In particular the P2P traffic is shaped.
Krycor - not sure if that's bad news, but at least you know for sure.
Speaking of news - I will find out more about the news server too, but it has apparently been hiccuping lately.

Is this now new shaping and is it a permanent thing? What is the reason for this and what would you like us to do with a 30gig local only account? Give it away? With the kind of shaping in place it's impossible to use the whole 30gig.

Well then they changed the shaping in the past few days and made it much worse!!! I think they will lose many customers if they shape local p2p in the way they do it now....

I can just as well downgrade my 4Mb line to 384 KBs

They will loose most of their ADSL customers if this is going to be a permanent thing. SAIX has far better service in all regards except local bandwith price.
