Hi,
I'm looking for the best ADSL deal and best overall service to meet my needs.

Here's what I need:
- VoIP to PBX in the UK, max 2 calls at a time (32kbps per call up/down)
- Lots of remote desktop (port 3389) to the UK, Canada and USA
- general other use: http, ftp, etc.
- video streaming (480kbps and 720kbps) from the UK

I currently use Telkom Unshaped 4GB accounts because they seems to offer the lowest latency and decent speed - but they're hellishly expensive at around R500/4GB. I used Axxess "Uncapped" Unshaped Express+ accounts (reselling IS, I think) but there was too much latency for reliable VoIP.

I signed up for a Screamer account, which is totally useless and I'm going to cancel. I'm going to try an Afrihost 10GB account...

Any other guidance/suggestions?

...most affordable option is Afrihost (IS) - reasonable latency, however should you require lower latency and unshaped connection you will have to be prepared to double even triple the monthly fee.

Imaginet's unshaped freestyle service was great for me, 2 gig cap, and you can go over it, but GREAT latency.

Currently using Screamer, but remember that the service is pretty much beta and that the fixes will be implemented this week!

been having problems with the semi-shaped imaginet does it make a difference if i try the unshaped imaginet?
