Hmm, don't know if it's a bug or a marketing ploy but you cannot seem to top-up really. You can only upgrade your account to a higher package.

So you wouldn't be able to buy another 10 gigs? You'd need to top up with 15GB, then 25GB, etc? That's a little dodge.
I can understand this .
To process , for example , 3 Rands for 3 GB is not economicaly viable .
Anyone else having issues this morning?

20. Please note that all VPN traffic is calculated at 1.5 times the normal rate.

Wonder why? Are they even allowed to do that? o.0

One way of bypassing shaping rules for downloads is to use a VPN on an unshaped port, or to disguise traffic - so that's likely the reason. I wonder how they classify VPN traffic though - if they started charging 1.5x the traffic for watching Netflix through Unotelly for example, I reckon there would be a lot of pissed off people.
Ooh, they had better not do that for netflix. Although, its not VPN data at all.One way of bypassing shaping rules for downloads is to use a VPN on an unshaped port, or to disguise traffic - so that's likely the reason. Technically speaking, your Netflix data is only proxied by Unotelly, so not a vpn.
That said, interesting that they count VPNs at 1.5x the traffic. Can theoretically say, VPNs are intended for business purposes, so may as well charge more for that type of traffic because of that reason.
Yeah, for R1/GB you can pretty much forgive most things![]()
