We all agree that hiring on race is wrong, for anyone.

We are also saying just because there is BEE, it doesn't excuse this ad "because their are lots of other discrimination". It's like saying white on black murder is acceptable because there is lots of black on white murder

I think predicting that there'll be a crybaby is a lame attempt to keep this in their little circle without challenge, so they can chest thump, etc unfortunately this is the wrong place to seek that. There are places where they can post without fear of being called out.

Odd that you don't see anything wrong with the ad, but you are against BEE. It must be really difficult to hide you true colours everyday in SA. You can't tell the natives off as you really want to anymore.

This ad is no different to the ad in this topic. Equally racist. You can give preference to BEE candidates as and when you have to, but it's wrong to say other races should not apply. What if there are no BEE candidates, will you just leave the position open and then the job don't get done?

Language, instead of race, can you see the difference. You can have a black person growing up in a white household, and that person will be better able to portray life in a white Afrikaans household than a white Afrikaans person that grew up in a orphanage. Generalizations has a way of not always being true.

But often forgotten(read ignored) is that next to that entrance was another one with black only/coloured only/non-whites only... rather odd that adverts for 'black only' don't trigger the sensitives the same way;)

I was trying to say blacks in a more diplomatic way, that some here can actually understand. You know, as we were classified in the past. But I'm sure you understood that very clearly. ;)
