IGI report looks pretty good.
I chose lab-grown because I don't feel mined diamonds are worth it, and because I could get a larger stone for my budget. Its a Chemical Vapor Deposition grown diamond. Type IIa
Pretty excited for it. So now I just have to wait the 4 weeks to get it made. Thankfully I am only proposing in late Dec, so there is no rush (but not telling the jewller that).
Congrats OP.

Thank you.
I guess we all fear divorce these days. The question is... is she worth ignoring that fear. In my case I believe she is worth it.
I will not bring my negative marriage experience into your thread.

You must enjoy what's waiting for you.

At least you have the certainty knowing everyone will know your girlfriend is taken by the size of the diamond it looks like its going to take up half her finger

Just for those who want to go synthetic stone route, etsy and the like are generally quite a bit cheaper than what OP paid, obviously not necessarily reliable in terms of postage etc.

I went with a custom design 9ct rose gold ring from a local jeweler and I provided synthetic stones (and two real ones) back in 2017 this all cost under 8k.

Stones cost $30~ usd from two retailers. Ring and stones still look good today so I'm happy and so is my wife.

You don't need to spend a fortune if you get something that's special.
