I am having a problem with latency (2500ms to 10000ms) over Vodacom 3G while playing WoW in the Rooihuiskraal area since last week Tuesday (30/07/2009). This is the first time in 3years that my latency is this high. Phoned the call center and they asked me to clear the cache 
Next person I spoke to logged the call and Maxwell from Vodacom phoned me back 24hours later. He thought that maybe Telkom is routing Vodacom's 3G through a different router with a lower priority. I decided to test that and took my PC to Bryanston. There I have normal latency (450ms to 800ms).
Modem K3715 Vodafone USB
Throughput is not a problem, getting 1.7mbs to 2.5mbs down and 1.2mbs up.
Latency test to London on www.speedtest.net is between 500ms and 800ms
Any suggestions on how to proceed?
