Yeah, I didn't want demo units. You dunno how many hours the have been playing demo showreels. Those plasmas are pretty sensitive in the first 100 hours.

I'm not a fan of it either. At that price though I caved. Nothing is static on the showreel and there seemed to be no burn in. I can credit it though if I find any defects in the display.

I took out an additional warranty for R800. I nearly paid R12k for that same TV a few days ago so toys route makes sense. Also walked out with a double door fridge & a washing machine. Moving house in December so this was useful!

Thanks for posting, I never would have known otherwise.

I must also add that store was very quiet for the sale that they had going must have been busier this morning but it doesn't seem as though it was widely marketed.
The salesman was very accommodating. Neither Makro nor game would let me buy and deliver early December, Hirschs let me but today and will deliver whenever I give them the call to do so.
Should be next week, the tv will be boxed and wait in the warehouse with the other items for delivery.

If it is really a Full HD it can be right. Saw a full HD LG this weekend in the lower R4k's.

Thats not bad I saw a lot of these HD ready 32" badboys going for sub 2000 moola

But I want a 32 for my pc, but 1366x768 just don't cut it.

Anyone with the LG 60PB6900, can you confirm that optical out is the only audio output (no rca or 3.5mm?

Setup the LG 60pb6900, Damn that thing is heavy. Needs alot of fine tuning on the image, but what I noticed so far is the very bad IR. Takes just a few secs of something bright to leave a mark.
I know lot of guys speak about 100 hour burn in cycles go let the phosphors activate uniformly, but I have ever only ever seen this in DVD format. Anyone seen the sideshow for USB, or even better online Web page?

Just check your initial constrast settings. It was generally discussed that for a while at least, cant tell you time or hours use, that the contrast be set to about half. Just for your piece of mind, IR does reduce over time, physically and mentally. Dont let it distract from your enjoyment of the TV.

I bought the Samsung UA46H7000 on special yesterday from DionWired. What really attracted me to it was the very thin border around the panel. I have a fairly small TV room so didn't want anything over 48" so pretty happy with the special (R9900 incl delivery).
