Samsung PS-51D490 for R6295. With Game's price beat you can get it for even cheaper.
looks like it guess some one warned them before it hit the fan
good jobYep, I did. Gave them a call at 8am this morning to get them to double check their facts. They fixed their page chop chop afterwards.![]()
Damn, that price is crazy! That's more than R5k cheaper than Game's PS51D550 which is a pretty high R11,499.
Hell no, the currently showing Geo vs Rom RWC replay on SSHD1 is in SD, immediately apparent (even from 3m away on a 40") vs. the normally awesome 1080i FHD RWC picture.Full HD ... gimmick inflates price...

You obviously have no clue how sharp, detailed & life-like a good 1080i picture can be.Lmao.

*fibbing
PP, this is in fact part of the reason I've been so hooked on FHD. When i saw my one buddy's FHD 42" LG like 2 years ago and he played a blu ray of Planet Earth, I was blown away. It was like looking thru a window and on the other side of that window was snow covered mountains in the most crisp detail u can imagineYou obviously have no clue how sharp, detailed & life-like a good 1080i picture can be.

Not to the same degree ...My argument to you, is that HD Ready does it too
Not to the same degree ...
FHD on 42": 1920x1080 = ~2M pixels on screen = ~52 pixels per inch
HD Ready on 51" = 1366x768 = ~1M pixels on screen = ~31 pixels per inch
HD Ready on 43" = 1024x768 = <800K pixels on screen = ~30 pixels per inch
The sharpness, clarity, detail on FHD comes from packing more pixels per inch.
Why do you assume most have to/want to sit miles away from their screens? Do we all live in mansions?Certainly, but to a large extent the benefit is lost from longer viewing distances
No just a serious over simplification of the situation. It doesnt not take into account the abilities/perceptions of the individual, its just an average of the masses. Generally people who spend lots of money on hi-def screens are going to be more fussy/aware of picture definition than some arb person who couldn't care if they're watching on a CRT or HDTV.Is this chart fibbing?
