wouldn't mind seeing a local full on discussion / debate on the LED vs CCFL backlit front, i feel that i can see a difference between LED and CCFL , but lot of people are saying that they can not see any difference (and thus that i am just imagining things ), i couldnt find a thread where the LED vs CCFL was discussed in extent on mybb specifically, would be cool though
Can some TV guru's tell me what the diferrent between the ua46D6000 and the ua46D6400 is?

Will go see for myself the Plasma VS the LED.
If the plasma is any good compared, I'd go for it!
The Game specials ended past Sunday. So the D6000 is around R12k now
Yea I had the 42" 4 Series.
Now the R9 999 plasma does not sound too bad afterall.
I think it's best for me to go test them both out. Going to Tafelberg afterwork (the fairly new one in Belville. Perhaps they have a test room)
Have not noticed it yet. Haven't done too much watching last night.
I did see something that was bit iritating, the local dimming, is that what you call it? I was in the menu fine tuning a bit, and each time an advert change the menu would fade, and once the picture starts up, it's back to normal.
Can one switch this off, or is it there for a reason??
Not sure I understand ... what menu?I was in the menu fine tuning a bit, and each time an advert change the menu would fade, and once the picture starts up, it's back to normal.
Only other thing I can think of is check if the Eco & LED Motion settings are disabled. Also upgrade you firmware ... think I'm on 1017.2
