Lekota lambasts Expats

Hmm, I never mentioned the ANC giving up power. Really I didn't.

I was under the impression that when you said once people overcome "liberation" propagander they would vote for someone else who would then win an election removing the A.N.C and that would all be plain sailing.

I see where the misunderstanding came from. It was meant as sarcastic, and also the odds that your average ANC voter is going to "see" the light is null.

Uh I don't think so.

It's obvious that the A.N.C is only interested in power and always was only interested in power. They only used democracy because it was the best way into power and they had the numbers. They don't believe in it. So if you think that they somehow in the future are gonna give up power because they lost an election then you're in for a nasty surprise.

Just look at BoB.

Also other African nations where losing an election doesn't mean a smooth change of governance. In fact far from it.
Maybe you can substaintiate your claims a bit more instead of quoting BoB of Zimbabwe. The ANC has actually lost an election before. They have lost provincial and local gvt elections quite a few times now in KZN and WC. I'm did not recall a civil war because they lost. Moreover, the ANC has been brokering peace deals in other African countries (DRC comes to mind) where a result of an election was not accepted by all.

Losing a couple of local govt or provincial elections are *very* different to losing a national election.

Even schoolchildren can see that crime is a problem. Why can't our government?

"There are none so blind as those who will not see. The most deluded people are those who choose to ignore what they already know."

Exactly Syndyre. Even then you saw the trouble they stirred in the WC. Also how they "acquire" people from other parties through floor crossing gives you some indication of their mentality. If BoB were to have a free and fair election then he would lose. Refusing to allow fair elections is pretty much the same as not accepting the results of a fair one. We will see what happens in the DRC then.

I apologise for the misunderstanding.

Their also isn't a real threat against them, unlike in Bob's case, people react very differently when they perceive their backs to be against the wall.

They didn't take those losses lightly. In the western cape they are fighting tooth and nail at every opportunity to try and take out the DA led coalition. They even bused voters in from the Eastern Cape before the last major elections. Zuma draws the Zulu vote in KZN now (as he did last election) - and need I remind you of the massive bloodshed every election year in those parts? The ANC has cleverly held on to power in a very simple way - propaganda. African propaganda. And why not compare to Bob? He employs the same tactics and it's worked for a couple of decades now.

Well not civil war but giving power to the DA was not "peace full" remember how Hellen Zille had a public speech and ANC members throwing rocks and chairs at her. Or when the WC Premier Rasool tried to overthrow the mayor ?

Oh the ANC are a bunch of childish monkeys who can't stand losing.

I've been watching their modus operandi here in the Cape. If they don't get their own way, they run around screeching about unfairness. Yet they run the most underhand lowlife schemes to hold on to power.

In fact I've also been noticing how they use ANC Provincial powers to get their way in local council business where the DA is supreme.

Probably a contributing factor is that they assume others who "beat" them must use the same kind of under hand methods. After all their methods have been so succesful over "straight" methods so the others must also be under hand. Of course it's fine to dish it out but it's an outrage for them to be on the receiving end.

Bit like Koeberg when that weed claimed "sabotage". I mean who the hell would sabotage Koeberg:eek: . Oh wait they did exactly that  so he thought he could get away with it because to him it's very definitely plausible.

As you wish. You arrange for the ministers, I'll arrange for the sticks and stones, and then we shall show our displeasure in such brutal fashion as may impress upon these ignorant lowlifes the seriousness of our quarrel.

Don't forget to slap them through the face with your gauntlet first. I belief that is the action to initiate a fight :p

You really think that any of the ruling class understand the concepts of honour and chivalry? Honour to them is what universities give when they get their honorary degrees, and chivalry will probably be dismissed as a kind of car.
