Yes just learning it’s a bit different than PSP.
How's the performance?
ON1 is pretty sluggish and already crashed once, so not off to a good start...

As I said the free tier is fine for me and I posted it in response to what??Ouch - $450...
While not a lightrom alternative I'm still not sure what it offers of any use to me that PhotoMechanic doesn't already have (at half the price).
Not as a possible Lightroom alternative? As I said the free tier is fine for me and I posted it in response to what??
Is Fastrawviewer a LR alternative? Not as a possible Lightroom alternative?
I'm still looking into it, but on the surface, yes, but ymmv. Some of the features I've found, with the limited amount of time I've spent using it, include shadow, exposure, and contrast adjustments. Is Fastrawviewer a LR alternative?
A LR replacement?I'm still looking into it, but on the surface, yes, but ymmv. Some of the features I've found, with the limited amount of time I've spent using it, include shadow, exposure, and contrast adjustments.
And obviously there's the asset management side of things.
I'll be dammed - I didn't realise you couldn't export adjustments directly but could only pass them on to another (not limited to LR) app.A LR replacement?
It just adds xmp sidecar files with the adjustments for LR to read and apply, come now.
Seems only LR or ACR:I'll be dammed - I didn't realise you couldn't export adjustments directly but could only pass them on to another (not limited to LR) app.
So you're correct - it's just as unsuited to this thread as Fast Image Selection.
Is there still COVID restrictions that side, where’s the crowd?!
NoIs there still COVID restrictions that side
It's four day stuff so the crowds are thin, even though it's free.where’s the crowd?!
No, I don't have LR. ATM I'm using PhotoMechanic and avoiding editing wherever possible. It's all jpg so I rarely have to do much once it's dialled in. TBH raw or JPG culling doesn't get much faster than PM.Do you shoot tethered to LR?
Tethered, I think they call it live ingest?PhotoMechanic
Yeah - it relies on EOS Utility dumping it into a watched folder.Tethered, I think they call it live ingest?
Ironically PhotoMechanic announced last night they were also switching to a subscription model so might have to give this a closer look.Never used that but I have been trying this recently, even the free version is good

Yeah, that's more like Photoshop - not really in line with Lightroom.Affinity photo is 40% off for this BF.
