Line management problems (Afrihost/Telkom)

I've got an ADSL line that I got through Telkom. I tried to switch to AfriHost, but they couldn't complete the switch because of some issue on the account ("DN is invalid" whatever that means). I left it at that.

This last weekend my line went down so I phoned Telkom to check and they said they can't help me because they don't manage the line and can't tell me who does. Afrihost insist that they never took over the line so they can't help. So I'm stuck with a broken line that no-one will help me with.

Who can tell me who has the line?
 
Telkom - the last mile may be managed by someone but always belongs to Telkom.

Its their baby either way.
 
Telkom gets the money still, but they are so useless. Will contact Telkom again and keep trying. Thanks for the feedback
