I'm working from home at the moment because no car - I am paid per hour - so this BS is making me work till late evenings. Government can get ****ed. Need to find more ways to contribute less to their coffers.
Most laptops and mobile lte routers last 2 hours

I have a choice - hope for stage 2 so that I have no power from 11:30 14:00 or stay on stage 1 and have none between 7pm and 9:30

Doubt he could fix decades of rot also accelerated by a decade of Zupta even if he owned the death stick in a few months.
"Ramaphoria" was marketed as a new beginning running up to the next elections.
I know that the damage has already been done and won't be easy to recover from.

Ja, Eskom wants an increase in tariffs. This is their way of bullying NERSA. This will continue until the increase of 25 % or whatever they want is approved.

Yeah... We just went down at work. Generator's running. Feel like the country is burning tbh. Eskom is a train wreck.

As much as I'd like to believe Eskom will return to normal... I think it's the start of a collapse. The collapse will come fast and it will be severe. We know now why Eskom was functioning, it was on debt, a debt that's not sustainable.

No train wreck.. just MasterBlaster pinching SA population's balls to make them pay more
If I read another article right they are actually just up and removing one or two gigawatts of generating capacity, because they can't maintain it anymore. Sounds bad to me. I think these load shedding schedules are going to go on for a long time.

Power was supposed to go out 15 minutes ago. Eskom either gives you no notice or gives you notice and then doesn't stick to their schedule. Sitting like a turkey here on my laptop waiting for the power to go out.
