So still no activation on my sim prehaps tomorrow who knows with Telkom ??
have you tried unplugging/plugging your router every couple of hrs so that the sim tries to re-connect?I've had my Sim for 5 days now and it is still not activated.
Really Telkom on hold for 1:30 yes one and a half hours and still no one available to help me register my sim.

Edit: So after waiting for 1:40 yes 1 hour 40 min spoke to Nomzamo who confirmed my sim is not activated
will esculate for a manual activation should be done in about 4 hours time.
Lets see i am not very confident it will happen.
So the order was placed on the 24 Dec that makes it 19 days and still not connected. First class service Telkom !!!!

Drop them a tweet with your sim number (ICCID number or something, which is on the sim card), your ID number and contact number. That helped me
I had tried that and the chat function on their website.
Any way at about 6pm last night i get a phone call from Nomzamo to apologize for not having me active in the 4 hours she promised due to a technical glitch. She sais it should be good to go this morning. Wake up to the dreaded red light restart the router for about the 100th time since i received it. Wow a nice teal colored light active at last woooohoooo!!!
Any way i have to Say thank you to Nomzamo she is the first Telkom employee that bothered to keep me in the loop and follow up with me.

That is with the bunny ear antenna i will test with external antenna and update later.
Signed up last Thursday - courier called today - delivered. 1 x b315 1 x poyting antenna 1 x sim - not yet rica'd.
Popped in another telkom sim card and loaded bundle.

Now to wait for RICA but look great so far.
Seems as though the B315 supports all 4 LTE networks in SA. Just the external Ponyting may not....
